Sewing and designing your own garments is not as easy and glamorous as many may think. I have been working in this field for a few years, and it always amazes me how hard working my fellow students and coworkers are. Creating garments and art is truly difficult work, but it rewarding in so many ways! We as a society are generally so far removed from the garment production and behind the scenes of the fashion industry, I thought it would be amazing to document and share my experiences as a Toronto designer and artist. I will be uploading progress work and inside tips here, starting with my Final collection for Ryerson University.
